Le&nbsp;capitaine Japy, mort au champ d&rsquo;honneur,&nbsp;\u00e9tait le fils de M. Albert Japy qui, pendant&nbsp;la guerre de 1870, fut d\u00e9cor\u00e9 comme capitaine d&rsquo;\u00e9tat-major du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Crouzat, commandant du 200 corps, pour sa belle&nbsp;conduite \u00e0 Beaune-la-Rolande, et le neveu&nbsp;de M. Japy qui, en 1870 \u00e9galement, contribua brillamment \u00e0 la d\u00e9fense de Belfort&nbsp;comme lieutenant l&rsquo;artillerie. Le corps de M.
